Five powerful updates to supercharge your Shopify + Klaviyo email campaigns

We're excited to share our biggest product update yet. This December, we've focused on making Eltie faster, smarter, and more intuitive for ecommerce brands and agencies building email campaigns.

1. Sandbox Mode: Try Before You Commit

We know connecting your Shopify store to a new platform can feel like a big step. That's why we've introduced Sandbox Mode—a risk-free way to experience Eltie's full capabilities without any commitment.

Here's how it works: Simply input your store's URL, and in just 5-7 minutes, Eltie will scan your website, import your products and photos, and create three fully-designed emails tailored to your brand. You can review the emails, explore the editing experience, and see exactly what Eltie can do for your Shopify email marketing—all without connecting your store.

When you're ready to create real campaigns, simply exit Sandbox Mode, connect your Shopify store, and start building your email calendar. Sandbox Mode is available for all new users. Existing users can reach out to our team to enable it on their account.

2. Next-Level Image Generation with Nano Banana Pro

Product imagery can make or break an email campaign. We've upgraded our AI image generation to use Nano Banana Pro, cutting hallucinations by 90% and delivering exceptional accuracy when placing your products in lifestyle scenes.

The results? Your product photos now maintain packaging details, brand colors, and product features with incredible precision. Whether you're showcasing a skincare bottle on a bathroom counter or a pair of sneakers on a city street, the AI places your products naturally while preserving every important detail.

Of course, AI-generated images aren't for everyone. If they don't align with your brand aesthetic, you can always use photos directly from your Shopify store. To try our new image generation, log in to Eltie, click on the Image Library tab, and hit "Generate."

3. Saved Email Section Designs

Consistency is key to building brand recognition. If you've worked with Eltie to design a section you love—whether it's a hero banner, product showcase, or testimonial block—you can now save it for future use.

When you add a saved section to a new email, Eltie automatically preserves the design while applying relevant content for that specific campaign. This means your brand stays consistent across every email you send, while still delivering personalized, contextually appropriate messaging.

4. Email Versioning

Mistakes happen. Creative direction changes. Clients request revisions. Whatever the reason, you now have the safety net of Email Versioning.

Every time you edit an email in Eltie, we automatically create a new version. This makes it incredibly easy to undo changes, compare different iterations, or jump back to an old version if you change your mind. No more panic when you accidentally overwrite something important.

5. Direct Editing for Faster Workflows

Previously, all edits in Eltie were made through chat. While conversational AI is powerful for complex design changes, it was overkill for simple text tweaks or URL updates. We've now added direct editing capabilities that let you click on any component and make instant changes.

Need to fix a typo? Click the text and edit it in a modal. Want to update a button link or swap out a product image? Click and change it directly. Delete images, update copy, or modify URLs—all without opening a chat interface.
